O, FabiO!

-Почти все художники делают копии своих работ, не могу поверить, что вы об этом не знали, девочки...

Мы сидим в ресторане и учим Фабио как правильно есть икру.

Фабио Виале - итальянский скульптор из Турина. Ему 33 года, он любит свой квадроцикл, свою девушку и мрамор.

28 августа у него открывается выставка в лофт-проекте "Этажи".
А сейчас идут активные приготовления: благодаря "трудностям перевода" уже была закуплена водка для чистки зеркал и поставлен не туда моток каната высотой 3 метра, который должен будет удерживать гигантский мраморный воздушный шарик, чтобы он не улетел в стратосферу. А еще по случаю открытия по Неве будет пущена первая в мире мраморная лодка. Правда, российское МЧС, несмотря на многочисленные объяснения, просьбы и документальные видео, показывающие, как лодка плывет по рекам Рима, Венеции и Нью- Йорка, не поверило в волшебство скульптора, поэтому в России ее будут поддерживать снизу 6 дайверов, а на борту будет кататься работник МЧС ( при том, что мест всего 4!!!).

А еще с Фабио невероятно весело. несмотря на то, что мы не говорим по-итальянски, а он плохо знает французский и почти не знает английский. Но это никому не мешает и после "Садко" мы едем в Фидель, потому что "глаза рыбы" (т.е. икра))), которые он съел начинают шевелиться и ему срочно надо успокоить их водкой. В фиделе бармен сочувственно смотрит на нас и в конце говорит : " Может, возьмете хотя бы Боярский?". Но Фабио приехал в Россию и хочет пить водку, есть икру и покупать матрешек. Вот так все банально...Но ведь банальные радости - спасение для сложных натур.

28 августа около 16:30 состоится запуск мраморной лодки весом в 400 кг с набережной Петропавловской Крепости.
После этого в 20:00 откроется выставка скульптур Фабио в Лофт Проекте ЭТАЖИ (вход с улицы в оранжевую дверь слева от прежнего входа).

August 28 - is the opening of his exhibition at the loft project "Etagi". Hard preparations are going on at the moment; thanks to the "lost in translation" was bought a lot of alcohol (vodka) to clean mirrors and 3-meter-high rope-mountain was successfully put at the wrong place - the rope will have to hold the giant marble balloon so it won't fly away in to the stratosphere.
Also as the part of the exposition Fabio is going to put his first in the world real marble boat on the Neva river. The thing is that our Russian 911-service despite long explanations, evidences and documental videos that shows how the boat could perfectly swim on the rivers in Rome, Venice and New-York, didn't believe in the sculptor's magic that's why in St. Petersburg the boat will be supported under the water by 6 divers and one of the special-occasion-policeman will be taking a seat in the boat (out of 4 available!!!).
Fabio is also a lot of fun, in spite of the fact that we don't speak Italian, and he speaks French pretty poorly and almost doesn't know English. But all that doesn't bother us and after typical Russian cuisine in "Sadko" we go to Fidel, because "the fish's eyes" (the caviar) that he ate start growing and moving in him so he urgently needs to calm them down with...vodka! Barmen at Fidel looks at us with pitty and says in the end: "Maybe you want to try cognac Boyarskij at least?"
But Fabio is in Russia and wants to drink vodka, eat caviar and buy matreshkas. That's how typical it is... but isn't it that simple joys is the rescue for the complicated ones.

Базируется в Нью-Йорке, снимая практически для всех журналов моды,
а чаще всего для Numero. Она создает новое пространство и восприятие
фотографиий моды, как наши любимые импрессионисты, что вышли
на пленэр. Её площадка - это песок, воздух и немного фактурной
мебели с цветами.
Просмотрев несколько съемок Камиллы, уже несложно выделить её
фирменные светотени, игру с цветами, тканями, но её любое средство
притяжения нашего внимания -дублирование природных фактур
материальными.Её модели - сочные, аппетитные, безумно притягательные,
как намагниченные.Увидев её работы, я влюбилась в неё раз и навсегда.
И каждый месяц с нетерпением жду её новой съемки. Может,
я - какой-то религиозный фанат, но от фотографий Камиллы я испытываю
примерно то же, что и от американских горок, свободного падения,
первого свидания и ментолового лимонада посреди жаркого июля на
юге Сицилии.

She is a blonde photographer from Sweden, 34 years old. Already not bad.
She is based in New York shooting almost for all noticable fashion magazines,
but most of all for Numero magazine. She creates a new space and perception
of the fashion photography, as our favourite impressionists that came out of
the studio en plein air.Her space is the air, the sand, flowers and some
remarkable furniture. Having Looked through a few Camilla's photoshoots,
it's not hard to mark out her trade mark treatment of light and shade, game
with colour and fabric, but her favourite men of drawing our attention is
repeating natural textures with material.Her models are juicy, madly
pretty and crazy magnetic. Had seen her works I fell in love with them
forever. And every month I inpatiently wait for the new shots. Maybe
I am some religious fan but looking at Camilla's pictures I feel the same
what I feel being on a rollercoster or on a free-fall, on my first date or
sipping mint lemonade in the middle of the July heat at the south of Sicily.

LOUIS VUITTON AND ART

Галерея "L'espace Louis Vuitton" была основана в январе 2006 года.
Это небольшое пространство, где можно увидеть работы известных
и лучших, по мнению LV, современных художников. Итак, магазин
становится культурным центром...Попасть в галерею можно как,
непосредственно, из самого магазина, так и через отдельный вход;
и вот здесь-то начинается самое интересное..."Это концептуальный
лифт" объясняет девушка с рацией, после чего двери закрываются
и мы оказываемся в абсолютной темноте...еле нащупав друг друга,
мы хватаемся за руки, чтобы хоть как-то подавить охвативший нас
почти детский страх... Олафур Элиассон, датский художник, создавший
лифт, описывает его как "little chamber of secrets" (маленькая комната
секретов). Сам лифт представляет собой черный ящик, обитый
изнутри мягкой материей. Блокируя все чувственные стимулы,
как контраст с перегруженной эмоциями атмосферой магазина
и улицы Champs Elysees, он поднимает вопросы о другой модели
поведения, восприятия окружающего мира и собственном самоощущении,
Сейчас в галерее, в рамках выставки "Silent Writings" 15 художников
представляют свои работы на тему языков, шрифтов, почерка....

L'Espace Louis Vuitton was founded in January 2006; it's a small gallery
on the top of the building which informs visitors of a brand's history
and offers temporary art exhibitions. The store then becomes a cultural center.
You can get to the exhibition from the shop, but there is also another,
separate hidden entrance...The secretary invites you to fill the form for the membership..
And then..here comes the next step..."It's a concept" explains the girl with
remote control, before guiding the elevator upstairs. Well, in that case, let's go!
Olafur Eliasson, the danish artist created the elevator, described it as
“a little chamber of sensual entropy”. The elevator is a black box blocking out
all sensual stimuli as a contrast to the sensually charged atmosphere
of the Louis Vuitton environment, and this raises questions about different
models of perception and one’s sense of self. We experienced that
journey together. Can't hide that we had to hold hands in the elevator
not to get lost in the blackness. The elevator "concept" actually helps with what
would otherwise be an annoying transition from one of the Parisian's
most chaotic shopping streets to a quite and noble space. The current
exhibition called "Silent writings" and it presents the works of 15 contemporary
artists on the theme of languages, writings and fonts. The exhibition seemed
to be like a one classy, fresh, attractive space where you definitely want to
come back to be touched by intelligence and style through visual art.
